The Università degli Studi di Bologna is considered the oldest university in the West, with its roots dating back to the year 1088, the founding year of the Faculty of Law. The university has an extensive academic tradition with great names in the history of science and literature. The university has made a major contribution to European culture and science.
Deadlines for nomination:
Apply for nomination to the International Office Law before 1 March in order to be included in the first nomination round of the next academic year (for both first and second semester exchange) After the first round selection takes place on a 'first come first serve' basis.
(Nomination deadline at the partner: 1 July (semester 1), 1 December (semester 2))
Availability:
Three students may go on exchange to the University of Bologna per year.
Language requirements:
There are no official language requirements for exchange students at the University of Bologna. However, students who wish to take courses in Italian are advised to have a minimum of A2-level Italian. For taking English courses, B1-level English is recommended.
